Best Albums this year.

What does everyone think is the best album so far this year?

I will be honest, the only new album I have downloaded this year is Opposites by Biffy Clyro and I have only giving it one listen so far, but from what I can remember, it was decent. Not as good as their last album before it, but still decent. I need to give it another listen.

I fully intend on getting Eminems new album once it's released. Looking forward to that.

Favorite album of the year was Local Natives Hummingbird. Their second album. So awesome.

Other albums ive really enjoyed this year were Doris by Earl Sweatshirt, Watching Movies With the Sound Of by Mac Miller and Trouble Will Find Me by The National. All awesome albums.

The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here by Alice in Chains. Cracking album - I prefer it to their last one, it's the best stuff they've done without Layne. Great mix of nice melodic material and heavy stuff. The vocal harmonies are excellent as always. There's not a bad track on the entire album.

Only album I've bought this year was the new Arctic Monkeys record and it's a huge step up from Humbug and Suck it and See.

My favorite album this year was Nothing Was the Same, followed by the full 20/20 Experience.

My favorite album this year was probably The Gifted from Wale. I think he really is one of the best in hip hop right now. Not the best, but top 5

I'm going to start to sound repetitive the way I've gone on about it already but; Alter Bridge, Fortress. It's brilliant start to finish and I don't think i could recommend it enough

Yeezus by Kanye West. This album is so amazing and so full of energy. It's a great follow up to his masterpiece, MBDTF. It's so vibrant full of lush sounds that blend together that shouldn't. It's mad genius.
