Local Natives. I saw them live last week. Love both of there albums and they were amazing live. Also been listening to alot of Earl Sweathshirt who i love. Doris is probably tied for my favorite rap album of the year along with WMWTSO.

Right now I'm really digging indie and folk stuff, so I've been listening to a lot off matt pond PA, Avett Brothers, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Great Lake Swimmers, Stars, Mason Jennings and other stuff.

Although this afternoon I was rocking out to some Alice in Chains and Stone Temple Pilots, so I guess I'm sort of all over the place lately :lol

Their new album is incredibly good, and I'm going to see them in a couple weeks with Shinedown and Halestorm supporting (who are both also quite good)

I'd agree with Alice In Chains as well, I still enjoy them a lot, and there is a gig coming up near me soon so I might try and get tickets

I listen to a lot of Adult alternative and Opera but still mix it up with classic rock from time to time. Can't really think of specific bands of the top of my head.

Also heard a band for the first time yesterday "Stealing Eden" they are pretty decent so will be listening to them a bit too

Yes to stone Sour, love them. Also the Offspring are always good fun.

Another gig I forgot i was going to are Lacuna Coil, kind of Gothic/Rock. I really like them, they have a couple of dud songs but for the most part are worth checking out

Yeah heard that version. The covers of songs he did on his CMFT tour were pretty good - With or Without You, Wanted Dead or Alive, Spongebob Squarepants, Wicked Game.

Avenged Sevenfold! Been my favorite band since 2006. Had an amazing time when I saw them live in 2010.

I prefer their old stuff with The Rev to their new stuff, I don't mind a few new songs though. Nightmare is probably my favourite Post-Rev song.

I've been listening to the new Pusha T album and for being pushed back so many times it was well worth the wait. Pretty solid album all the way through. Other than that a lot of Kanye, Miguel, John Mayer just to name a few.

Lots of good bands have been mentioned already. I appreciate the level of taste going on here.

In November I'm going to see the National in Dublin and Alice in Chains in Glasgow. It's going to be an awesome month.

I've been listening to a lot of acoustic stuff on Youtube lately. Old grunge covers by the likes of Corey Taylor and Aaron Lewis. Taylor is surprisingly good at the acoustic stuff. I've always liked his softer stuff (like Stone Sour) to Slipknot anyway.
