Liam Gallagher teases an Oasis reunion?

Definitely maybe?

He's either foreshadowing a reunion which would be fucking mental or he's been a complete dickhead and trolling - either one is feasible. Frankly it wouldn't surprise me if he extended the first olive branch - his band Beady Eye has bombed really and on their last tour they began playing Oasis songs (something he originally said he wouldn't do). Question is will King Noel be down for it? His solo album was fucking class and was a huge success but he's not the bellend brother so anything is possible.

I fucking hope this is foreshadowing.

He's probably just trying to goad his brother into a fight.

Then again, ultimately that would also be the result of Oasis getting back together so this answer will be proven right either way. :D

Not sure I care too much about an Oasis reunion, most of their latest material was mediocre by the time they split up. Then again if they got back together, they might be worth catching live. Morning Glory & Definitely Maybe were great records, I'd like to hear some of that stuff live.

I actually really enjoyed the last album (Dig Out Your Soul?) though I know I'm in the majority on that. Plus I've never seen Oasis live and as a big fan I feel like it's something I definitely should do before the opportunity to do so passes. I'm still chuffed I got to go watch The Stone Roses last year.

That said I LOVED Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, so if he'd rather stay solo I'd be more than fine with that too!

^^ Man, I saw Stone Roses in Phoenix Park last year. They were fucking awesome. Ian Brown is a bit naff as singers go, but he's not without his charm. The band were great though, they have one of the best guitarists I've ever seen live. And the songs really hold up.

I saw them in Warrington last year and they were amazing. Easily the best atmosphere I've ever been apart of at a gig, completely agree about the songs and they're so much better to hear live. I've got the documentary Shane Meadows did on DVD too, great stuff.

Being honest, I just think it is Liam Gallagher being Liam Gallagher. I'd say he is teasing the release of the Definately Maybe album being remastered, which I think is out next month but I maybe wrong. I also read a couple of months ago that someone (a producer, musician, I cant remember) heard Noel Gallagher recording new stuff for what is meant to be his second solo album so I'd say he has his head firmly focused on that project.

I do, however, think we will see an Oasis reunion eventually. I don't know whether it will be with new material but I certainly think they will do a tour showcasing a chunk of their hits and other popular songs from their albums!
