Caroline Aherne, star of The Royle Family, dies aged 52

Set up another thread about wanting a new series of The Royle Family but this is sad news.

I can't speak highly enough of TRF as the show I watched of Aherne's but she had a colourful career in comedy writing but TRF was just a fantastically written sitcom with characters and storylines you resonated with and the way it was produced just added to it.
