Star Wars Ep 8 confirmed to start immediately where Ep 7 leaves off

This makes it the first Star Wars film to begin without skipping forward in time from where the previous episode left off.

Will be interesting to see how this works out, especially with the opening crawl.

Opening crawl will probably just be a recap of the last film. Nothing wrong with that really.

Though this is kinda a weird/interesting choice, as there was nothing about the ending of the last film that suggested that they couldn't jump forward a bit in time. I guess maybe they want to show Rey's training right from the start, but they could have easily jumped ahead a bit there too. It might have even been a better idea.
