Cable's sort of a dying trend at this point. How many people here still have it?

I've been without it for a couple years now and really haven't missed it.

I do have cable, but its mostly for sports. I live with my girlfriend and she has Hulu and Netflix. Which is enough to find anything I want. My question to you without cable, what do you do for sports?

I have DirecTV.

Last year, I canceled cable and went with Netflix and Hulu and was perfectly content. however, My addiction to sports would not allow me to continue to live that way, so I went back to Directv. If there was a way to watch sports without cable, I'd cancel it tomorrow. I don't really watch anything else. my kids watch cartoons, but they can watch that stuff on Netflix or Hulu.

Yeah, I can't go without it. I need it for sports and wrestling mostly, but I also use it to flip on in the morning and watch news and other things while I'm getting ready and to go to bed at night. I like having stuff I can mindlessly watch sometimes and just channel surf rather than committed watching. Sometimes I find it almost intimidating to go into Netflix library and have all that content to decide over.

Yeah, for someone who watches a lot of Live sports it's still a must. Watching online isn't quite the same experience.

I only use it for sports really, with things like Netflix and Popcorn Time there's not much of an incentive to watch cable TV.

No, just Freeview and Netflix here. TNA is on one of the Freeview channels so I can get my wrestling fix (including PPV's so winning) and we use my in-laws Sky Go account on the tablet for sports.

Cancelled Dish Network three months ago and the only thing to notice in its absence is 300 extra bucks.

I've got it. I enjoy it for the most part. I like eating dinner and watching TV, or waking up in the morning and watching TV. Probably a waste of money though but I can afford it.
