How are you Americans liking James Corden?

Damn Letterman is annoyed. I have yet to see it, but I recognize the dude from something. Is he any good?

I've seen one or two clips on YouTube but yeah I'm interested to see how he's doing across the pond. If I could take a guess I'd say he'll put a whole lot of effort in and come across as a really nice guy but his show will lack originality and people would rather watch Seth Meyers than a largely unknown Englishman. He'll also laugh at his own stuff more than anyone else in the room and do the host 'fake laugh' a little bit too often. I hope he's doing alright though.
