Birdman leads the nominations with 7. I have heard great things about that movie and can't wait to see it. Also, Steve Carell and Mark Ruffalo are nominated for Foxcatcher. Another movie that I am really looking forward to seeing.

Glad to see Birdman get so many nominations, as it's a film that looks great and that I really want to see (unfortunately it's not released here until January ... boourns).

I think Boyhood has the next most nominations, which is well deserved. It's a really great film. Not sure if anyone else here has seen it, but I'd highly recommend it. I think it could very well take Best Picture, and I'd like to see Ethan Hawke take Best Supporting Actor too.
