Talk about movies and television in here!

What should I watch on Netflix?

Postby War Daddy » Sep 29, '14, 2:24 am

Due to my recent netflix revival ( ;) ) I have an abundance of movies to watch and I never know which to choose. So help me out here folks, I'm open to all genres.

IF I were to recommend a couple for you, it would be "Doc of the Dead" and "Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacies". Both brilliant. I love Halloween time :lol

I'd love to recommend you some stuff, but unfortunately the range of movies you get on Netflix is different depending on what country you're in, so I'm not sure what stuff is available over there. :(

If it's available on American Netflix, try "Safety Not Guaranteed". It's a recent indy flick about a crazy guy who puts an ad in a local newspaper looking for a companion to travel back in time with. It's pretty funny, I definitely enjoyed it.

Watch Sherlock if you haven't yet. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman were/are great in it.

Also if it's on American Netflix I'd recommend Republic of Doyle. It's a Canadian show set where @CubsIn5 lives. It's a crime comedy/drama around a father and son PI duo. It's in my top three Canadian shows along with Corner Gas and Trailer Park Boys(which is another one to watch if you haven't yet because you're missing out big time).

Seriously watch Trailer Park Boys if you haven't. It's memorable and quotable and a classic that everyone should embrace. It's also super easy to binge watch so watch out :lol

He lives in St. John's Newfoundland which I'm pretty sure is closer to Ireland than it is Edmonton. I really want to go there someday soon because it looks so awesome and beautiful :(. As for which scenes he's in the background of I doubt he'll tell us. We'll just have to watch and try and spot him.
