Good start so far! Some likeable people so far, no real villains yet, although I'm just waiting for John Rocker to piss someone off.

Blood vs. Water is the only scenario in which I'm ok with exile island being used. It actually adds something with the BcW stip.

Jeremy is overplaying his hand right off the bat, it seems. I don't think he gets very far, but then again, Tony overplayed is hand all the way to a victory.

I'm glad that this season is using completely new people--that always makes for the best television, I think.

I'm liking Jeremy quite a bit. Clearly he'll be good in challenges, and the way he conducted himself early on in that situation with his wife made him look good to pretty much anyone, especially the women. You're right though, he does seem like a very aggressive personality, if he can tone that down he'll do well.

SO glad Nadiya was first to be voted out. "He's just one of the girls" GAY GUYS DON'T LIKE THAT SHIT. That's a stereotype from like 15 years ago. Ugh, she was annoying. Glad the "all girls alliance" idea got squashed too, that gets teased almost every year and it's so dumb.

All in all, great first episode!

Yeah when she continually went on about him being "one of the girls" at Tribal, I knew she was toast.

WHY IN THE F*CK DID JOSH VOTE FOR BAYLOR?

Nadiya deserved to go home, I like Dale, Jeremy, and Keith right away, I'm interested in how John Rocker does, but WHY DID JOSH VOTE BAYLOR?

I just don't get that move. Maybe he figured he'd force a tie, but now, he's pushed Baylor into the majority and alienated himself from BOTH sides. I don't know if you can save yourself, Josh. GG.

I don't think he alienated himself yet, it's too early for people to feel that betrayed. They didn't show him making any promises to anybody about who he was voting off that I saw. He's still in a strong enough position that any alliance is going to need him anyway.

Yeah that was really weird. When they showed the vote I was like "man, how out of the loop does that person feel?" But then they showed it was him and it was just strange.

Apparently John Rocker is on record saying that Survivor was "the worst thing he's ever done," so I'm guessing he doesn't do too hot :lol. However, he did say that the whole experience was totally legit, unlike other reality shows that he's done.

I just don't get why people try so hard to conceal their identities when they've had some fame in the past. Just own it if it gets brought up.

Well with Rocker his history is full of racist and bigoted comments and being under fire by the media, probably not something he should bring up :lol

But even with people who are athletes, they don't bring it up because people will assume they made millions of dollars already and won't need the money as much as everyone else would.

This episode of Survivor was a cavalcade of dumbassery. A brilliant downfall up there with the likes of Silas or Jamie from China. I loved it.

Yeah I just saw last week's. Still need to watch last night's. As soon as Drew started talking about throwing the challenge, I was like, "Well, he's gone." :lol

What a fucking moron.

Holy fuck what a crazy ending tonight @Ali [/tag]Str8Shooter[/tag]!

After them building up the whole Josh vs. Jeremy rivalry, I never ever would have expected them to be the first two jurors!

I liked Jeremy too. I don't see how anyone could trust John and Jaclyn at this point, how many times have they flipped on people in their alliances now, like 3 or 4 already!? Fuck them. Missy is a bitch too. Truthfully I'm not sure there's anyone left that I really would like to see win the thing.

The teaser made it look like John might get voted out next week, which means he of course won't :facepalm

I really don't have a problem with John and Jac, I think they've played fairly well and have only really flipped once. They were never officially a part of the Josh alliance, and they stayed with Missy and Baylor through the stuff against Dale and his daughter (whose name escapes me). They turned on Jeremy and Natalie, but it was the right move -- Jeremy was clearly a power player and John saw a threat down the line. He knew that Missy and Baylor were already with him for sure because they've stuck together through several tribal councils now. So with he and Jac and Missy and Baylor, that's a potential final four right there.

Reed's definitely making a push though so it'll be interesting to see what happens with him. And we can't forget about Keith's idol.

Re: Survivor Blood vs. Water 2

Who the Hell is gonna end up winning this season? I have four theories.

One is Jon. Jon has played a very interesting game so far, going from an alliance/position with no control to having all of the power in the game thanks to the tribe swap. He has taken out the two biggest threats to win this game in Josh and Jeremy. But doesn't this now make him the biggest threat? This may have been a case of a Too Soon move. We'll see how it goes.

My second pick is Keith. Sure, he's been abrasive and confrontational with Missy and Baylor, but he has shown a great understanding of what's going on most of the time, and he's pretty sneaky, to boot. He could pull off a surprising run near the end.

Third, Natalie. This is actually someone I give less of a chance to win than the fourth pick, which I'll get to, but she was with Jeremy from the beginning, and this is going to be interesting to see if she can get revenge.

Finally, Baylor. Yes, I think Baylor has a legitimate shot at the whole thing. If she can get to the end with the right people, it can be hers to take. And I don't think it's that far out of the realm of possibility that she goes to the end with a combination of Jon, Jaclyn, and Missy, and upsets all of them because the Jury is mad at the rest of them!

But Josh and Jeremy were the clear favorites from episode one, so I've got no idea how this will play out.

@Ali

Jon and Jaclyn might have screwed themselves over with this one. It depends on how personally Jeremy takes it, they already masterminded Josh's exit and now Jeremy's. That's potentially two jury votes they won't get already.

Not to mention Natalie didn't have a clue about what was happening and she could now easily get pissed, join up with Wes, Keith, Alec, and Reed and have the 5 on 4 advantage and switch things up.

I don't think Baylor or Missy have much of a chance at all. It seems like most people hate them.

I don't think Missy does, Baylor might depending on who else is in the Final 3. Then again her mom has done all her dirty work for her. I could stand to see Baylor stick around a bit longer though, for purely a looks reason :P
