Reality T.V. - Stranded Political Opponents

So, Discovery Channel will be making a reality T.V. show where they maroon both a republican and a democratic Senator on an island for a week and film it.

I think this is really weird, but does it have entertainment value - can they mesh with politics with sensationalism without sexual escapades? Or... with them?

Will there be more people on the island too? What if they just refuse to talk to each other? That wouldn't be very entertaining. Then again, if they just talked politics all day that wouldn't be very entertaining either.

I'm having trouble thinking of ways that this might be entertaining.
