Mine has to be Freddy Krueger, both comedic and frightening. A great villain all round.

Michael Myers. At least, only in the first two movies. I don't care about the rest.

He's the only villain in a slasher film that can cause the slasher film to be considered a psychological thriller as well.

Halloween blows all the other movies out of the water, alongside The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. But my favorite horror killer will always be Jason Voorhees.

Its really hard to pick one. Clearly I'm a fan of Candyman, which is a really underrated movie. I've always been a Michael Myers/Halloween fan tho, definitely the Horror film that started my horror obsseision. Friday the 13th's are fun slashers but I always considered Jason a weak character. Freddy is great, and actually holds up for more of the movies in that franchise than jason or maybe even michael myers do in theirs.
