Many a TV show has been cancelled before it's time or when people thought it still had life left, so which one should have stuck around longer?

Firefly is the onvious answer. Blue Mountain State should have gone on for another season. Theres a kickstarter for a movie so hopefully that happens. I also just watched Undeclared on Netflix. I thought it was really funny. Only had one season.

Blue Mountain State, as JDD said, should have gone on one more season. I really hope the BMS movie happens because I need it. I also really wish the Godzilla animated series had continued. It was so much better than the 1998 movie and Zilla Jr was a way better spiritual successor to Godzilla. Granted no one could ever replace Godzilla but I'd watch a series of movies based around Zilla Jr fighting off kaiju.

My Name Is Earl. It ended with a cliff hanger for christs sake. It even said to be continued. Only lasted four seasons. It definitely needed at least one more.

I don't think the show was cancelled was it? I think James Corden and Ruth Jones just like...ended it.

Firefly is the obvious one. So much potential there. The characters and setting were brilliant and yet there was precious little time to actually explore them.

Veronica Mars was another one. Series 3 was not as good as the first two seasons, but it was still entertaining and they definitely could have brought it back to its original level of quality. On the bright side, the movie that was released this year was thoroughly entertaining.

Definitely Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. I though it was a really smart and fun show, but only had one season. I enjoyed the first season of Jericho, I know they done a short second season (haven't wtched season 2 yet), but i think it then went to comics after that. I also haven't gotten round to watching season 3 of Hannibal yet but I loved the first two seasons I though they were amazing, such a refreshing how at the time, I was shocked when I heard it was cancelled.
