Famous voiceover man Hal Douglas passes away at 89

Sort of like John Facenda from NFL Films, a guy who you never saw but you knew his voice instantly.

As soon as I saw this post, I knew exactly what voice was going to match up to the name. This guy is an important part of American pop-culture for our generation. Every time someone makes does a parody of a movie trailer narrator, they are essentially doing an impression of Hal Douglas.

There's only a few voiceover people you hear these days. Sad to see one of the true greats pass.

P.S. - I know this is old, it's still rings true though.
