What movies have you watched recently?

This was a pretty popular topic on the odd club and it's something that people can always reply to as most people are always watching movies.

So, what movie or movies have you watched recently and what did you think of them?

Reservoir Dogs was on the other night. Love that movie. I tend to always watch it whenever I see it's on TV.

Insidious Chapter two. Creepy movie but the dialogue was pretty cheesy. At times it felt more like the actors were in a parody of a horror movie.

Most recently I watched the extended editions of The Lord of the Rings trilogy, didn't do the pacing any favours. Then I watched The Hobbit Part 1 which is nae bad.

I went with back to back James Wan movies last night. Insidious was ok and The Conjuring was awesome. Probably the best (only) good horror flick I've seen in recent years.

I watched The Internship a couple nights ago, and it was pretty good. A little cheesy but still funny enough

I watched Sleepy Hollow a few days ago. First time since shortly after it came out. I hated it the first time around, but this time I thought it was okay. Nothing to write home about, but it had its moments. And it was refreshing to see Johnny Depp playing a character that wasn't just over the top silly for once. I kind of forgot he could act.

The girlfriend had never seen any of the Terminator movies, so over the last couple days we watched both Terminator and T2. Always a fun time.

It's been a while though since I've seen a movie that I hadn't already seen.

Just got through watching a movie called The Air I Breathe. Was nothing great. Didn't really have much of a point. Or maybe it did and I just missed it. Some decent performances by the actors but that's about it.

It's been a while though since I've seen a movie that I hadn't already seen.

Do you know which one she preferred out of the first two? I always find T2 to be a complete blast and one of the great action films, but the original was pretty creepy and moody at times. Impressive considering its minimal budget too.

She preferred T2. I've gone back and forth as to which I like better. I think if I were to pick one that I was just going to toss in the DVD player and watch it'd be T2, but I do agree that the atmosphere of the first is pretty awesome.
