Anyone else looking forward to this? I'm jizzing all over myself cuz I'm a huge 24 fanboy. I own every season on DVD, as well as the TV movie 24: Redemption, and 24: The Game for the PS2 (an underrated gem), as well as the Japanese-only release Daito Giken Koshiki Pachi-Slot simulator: 24 (which sucks the big one). I also have one of the 24: Declassified novels (hoping to build my collection further), and a 24 t-shirt (which I wore to the ROH live event, Death Before Dishonor V: Night One).

In other words, I fucken love 24. I can't wait until this show starts. I'm gonna be so hyped. Anyone else excited for it?

Huge 24 fan. Love that it's coming back. A little saddened that it's only 12 episodes and not 24. Doesn't somehow feel right. Excited that they're bringing Kim Raver back and addressing some of the loose threads for the inital series, although I do hope she's not a terrorist, Tony Almeida style.

I always meant to watch 24, but never got around to it.

Super excited for it. The 12 episodes are all going to be 2 hours long right? So it will be like a regular season of 24. I can't wait to see what they do with it a few years after letting it breathe.

^ From what I've heard, each episode will still only be an hour, and each episode will be in real time. However, they will "jump around" so that the 12 episodes still make up a 24 hour day. So like, one episode will be 4:30 to 5:30, and then the next might be 6:00 to 7:00, then the next might be 8:15 to 9:15, or something like that... I guess.

I'd rather it just be like the old days. Still, I'm so happy that Jack is back I don't even care.

I've never seen this show, I think Rescue Me was on at the same time and I was a huge Rescue Me fanboy (though now I can't stomach to watch it, too goddamn depressing).

I might have to give this one the ol' college try, if it's on Netflix.

I'm pretty excited about 24 coming back.

I recently went through it all on Netflix (never really was able to watch it properly when it aired). It's sometimes corny, the story telling can get a little bogged down in huge swerve cliffhanger moments but it's fucking good fun and surprisingly touching at times.

Jack Bauer is a grade A beast though. Funnily enough I kind of hope they do bring back an older character to play the antagonist. I know it's a little over done now but it some how fits. Tony coming back was one of my favourite seasons.
