This looks... interesting. Strange concept for a modern film though.

Bloody YouTube not embedding.

Aronofsky has been on a roll lately so that makes me want to see this, but I'm not entirely sold yet. I'll have to read reviews before I'd make a decision as to whether or not I'd pay to see it in the theaters.

Yeah I'm not sold. For one I know how it ends (Spoiler alert: lots of fucking water then new life) and two of the events of the bible there are plenty that would make much better movies.

I was so bored by this trailer. It didn't really remind me of Aronofsky at all, strangely. It just managed to look like every other bloody Russell Crowe movie. For an actor that's supposed to be pretty good, he does an excellent job of convincing me to NOT watch any of the movies he's in. Russell Crowe being a sullen historical hero stripped of all discerning features is not my idea of a good cinema experience.

I did enjoy Black Swan and the Wrestler was a technically accomplished film (though I didn't enjoy it), so maybe I should be taking more interest in this one, but the trailer looks so bland. It's a strange subject matter too, but there's definitely scope to bring that story to life in an engaging way. I'm just not completely confident they'll pull it off.

Looked cool to me. The story of Noah has been told a million times, it's not like we don't all know the outcome. Still, looks better than most trash these days.

Looks like an ambitious piece, although last time Aronofsky tried similar he failed miserably (i.e., The Fountain). It was a beautiful film, but had such uneven direction and a muddled up story. Shame, too, considering the cast and idea at core.

I thought The Fountain was great!
