A Christmas Carol, starring George C. Scott as Scrooge. I love the Muppet version as much as anyone, but George C. Scott is the best Scrooge portrayal I've ever seen.
How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Of course I love this special, who doesn't? It is by far and wide the best adaptation of Dr. Suess ever.
The Muppet Christmas Carol. I do love this one all the same. Michael Caine IS a great Scrooge, the songs are fun and catchy, and the use of Gonzo as Dickens reciting lines from the actual text is a brilliant touch.
Love Actually. I get a warm, fuzzy feeling with this movie. It's really the only good "Multiple Big Star Ensemble Romantic Comedy" in existence, very fun British humor, good soundtrack, all wrapped up in a nice Christmas package.
Olive the Other Reindeer. If you haven't seen this special, check it out. A unique, paper cut-out animation style, a ton of stupid puns, I don't know why I love this special, but I do.
Home Alone. Everyone remembers the slapstick, and the slapstick is hilarious. But every time I watch it, I remember just how heartwarming it is. It really does have a Christmas feel to it, and a good heartwarming message about family.
Die Hard. Some people say it's not a Christmas movie. I say, F*CK YOU, IT'S
DIE HARD! But to each his own.
