I watched this the other day... as much as I hate the Transformers movies, I actually really enjoyed this one. I don't know how to feel about that.

I mean, the dialogue in the first 30 minutes was terrible. I think I was blinded by the action which IMO was more meaningful than the 3rd movie where everything seemed random. I expected to hate it but I enjoyed watching it. I'm sure they'll make a 5th since Mega's still out here.

I honestly have only seen half out of the Michael Bay Transformers movies. And by that I mean I saw one half of one of the movies and that was it. That was before the second film had come out yet and back then it seemed to me that most people actually liked that first film. It didn't have nearly the reputation the films picked up later. But I just didn't get into it at all.

Halfway through the film my brother and his wife got into a huge argument, stormed out of the room and the movie was paused (I was watching it with them). After five minutes I thought to myself "why am I waiting for them to come back, this movie sucks." So I went and did something else.

Thus ended my relationship with the Michael Bay Transformers films. I loved the animated movie when I was a kid though. That was good shit.

It's the 4th one. Just got put on Netflix.

I have no idea how I missed this. It got rid of Laboof and got Mark Walberg instead? I mean shit.. sounds promising already. Thanks for the heads up, haha! I'm gonna watch it with the fam this weekend.

When I saw that Laboof was replaced by Walberg, I thought it was the same character ten years later. For some reason they actually seem like the same person just a decade or so apart in age. Makes sense as a replacement either way.

Wahlberg was pretty good. His character is mostly a dick but it's expected. His daughter does not look 17 though. Better than Megan fox at least.

No Megan Fox, No Laboof = already 100% better than previous Transformer flicks.
