So we all know the classics; Frankenstein's Monster, Dracula, Werewolf, and the Mummy. Although most of those guys aren't that popular now a days. Then we have the more modern classics; Chucky, Freddy, Jason, Leatherface. But who are the more underrated guys in your opinion? Guys who don't get enough credit, or deserved more movies.
My all time favorite is Pinhead, character wise I just love him and he has a fantastic look. Part of what hurt him is that the movies in the series, even though there were many, they weren't always that great. Although I'd put them ahead of the Jason movies as a whole. I enjoyed them all, but I won't try to convince anyone they're great.
The Puppet Master movies had great characters, they all had interesting looks and their own personalities. The plots of the movies were always hot garbage though. I would like to see this get a modern remake. I loved the new scary again Chucky movie. I'd like to see what that director could do with this series.
Anyway on to the reason I started this topic. I was watching Jeepers Creepers 2 today before work, and I remembered how much I liked the Creeper. The first movie did a great job of establishing his MO, and setting the feel for him. It was a very well done movie and had a great style about it. The creepy truck, the sewer thing, his theme song, he's always just out of sight in the shadows. He's a great stalker character and it works pretty effectively. Then part two expanded on his look, we got a good glimpse at his characteristics and personality, which I very much enjoyed. The scene where it's looking through the window upside down and it's moving people out of the way with its different expressions and mannerisms was one of my favorite scenes. And it's got that cool air sucking thing it does. This character deserved more movies IMO. It could rise to the ranks of those other more well known guys.
