Gotta feel for McGregor, 12 days away from potentially making history only for another Brazilian to piss in his red panties and go running. He'll likely fight Cerrone/Diaz now which I'm still down for; King Conor changing bum lives and running the game ye?
Unconfirmed, but rumours are that Nate Diaz has got the fight. It may end up being at 170 as well.
This is the fourth time one of McGregor's opponents has cancelled on him in the UFC. Did you see Aldo's post about how he wants a rematch, but said McGregor won't fight him because he's scared? lol.
It's a bug bear of mine in boxing when fighters pull out of fights due to injury, they can happen and it can be luck (not in the case of David Haye who pulled out twice to fight Tyson Fury and caused financial loss to people who'd booked tickets/hotels) but I'm amazed there isn't some contractual clause that can be given to the opposing fighter if the other pulls out - a training camp in boxing/UFC, probably lasting 12 weeks ain't no cheap business.
