I thought this was a fun little scenario to play out. So you are Pat Riley and LeBron, Bosh, & Wade all opted out of their contracts.

You have 60 million $ in cap room. The only players left on the Miami Heat roster are Norris Cole ($1.50 million salary) and Shabazz Napier ($2.50 million salary).

Now you can re sign the Big 3 or you can sign 1 or 2 players or just LeBron .

How would you re build the Heat team to ensure that they return to the Finals again? Here are a list of free agents of 2014.

Miami has the most cap space in the league. If Bosh walks, you have to make a play for Melo. LeBron is wanting a MAX contract reportedly, yet all the players opting out pointed to pay cuts to add depth to the bench or bring another star player in.

Wade is the biggest thorn in Miami's side right now if you ask me, he's a shell of what he used to be. Wade is looking really flabby and sick, for a player who's lived in the paint most of his life HE has absolutely lost a step, he has shown no signs of developing a 3-point shot at ANY point in his career, his game from the elbow has always been mediocre to streaky.

Bosh on the other hand, he's become far too much of a spot up shooter. How the hell are you a stretch 4 and you're not taking advantage of your quickness and mobility to beat the other bigs off the ball fake into the paint? His post game has vanished.

Miami needs to address an inside presence in the paint, they got killed off allowing so many second and third possessions, not being able to rebound...LBJ needs a decent front court and to be surrounded by defensive shooters or another guy like Melo....

Miami HAS to address the BIGS.
