I wonder how some of you find entertainment in sports.

Mayweather is a shit human being for what he did, but can we please separate the sport (all sports) from the legal issues? I can understand if people hate the guy for it, but constantly feeling the need to bring it up (not really directing this at you) is so fucking obnoxious.

Was the fight really as dull as people say?

For the casual fans who watch just a Mayweather or Manny fight, yes

For those who watch regularly, they understand how excellent Floyd was and how poor Manny was.

But Floyd a deserved winner - he was comfortable and Manny just could not adjust or do anything. I was disappointed about his lack of footwork or even attempting to try and unsettle Floyd in anyway. Half way stage, I think he just gave up. Not ideal that he's talking of injuries post-fight. If that was Floyd (and IIRC David Haye) got hammered for talking of injury post-fight. Should have avoided those comments.

Mayweather giving up his belts suggest his last fight won't be about prestige so that rules out Brook (not that he had that big a chance tbf) so Khan has to decide whether he might be willing to take the September fight at short notice from a preparation POV with Ramadhan in June time. But see Floyd taking on Cotto possibly.

Not all that much different than a typical Mayweather fight. I think we're hearing more people than usual call it boring because more people than usual watched the fight, including a lot of people who may have never seen Floyd fight before.

With that said, it was a pretty bad fight (especially compared to Mayweather/Maidana I), but nothing really surprising. I wouldn't call myself a boxing fan (more of a Mayweather fan to tell the truth), but I always watch Mayweather's fights so I knew what to expect.

I can actually see why the reporter questioned him the way he did. Pacquiao showed a sheer lack of class by claiming he won the fight, when he clearly didn't. It was an outrageous comment. And he lamented Mayweather for "running", claiming that was why he couldn't hit him. How about come up with a way to combat that then Manny? He has continued to make excuses since the fight finished as well, as has Freddy Roach, possibly as a way to get another fight and huge paycheck at the end of it.

The fight went as expected!

I agree - I watched the fight yesterday and it was laughable that Pacquiao claimed he won the fight. He was outclassed and outworked from bell to bell. He was awful at closing Mayweather down, missed most of his punches and generally looked several leagues below Mayweather.

I highly doubt a rematch is made even if Pacquiao campaigns for it. Everyone could see who was the better guy.
