New home page under construction

Squaredcircle.net will now take you to our home page, which is currently under construction. I have a link on the front page to redirect people here, but soon it'll actually be a decent looking site

Let me know if there are any issues with this.

I think we should try and brainstorm some ideas for stuff to put on the main page. I think it could be cool to be an awesome forum but also have some quality stuff on the main page to help it along.

Especially when we have so many people on here who are known for being high quality writers. Maybe people could write "articles" on a topic of their choice. It wouldn't necessarily have to be wrestling related although that could help. We could even turn it into a contest if we wanted where people submit an article and the most voted for one could be the "Squared Circle Article of the Week".

Maybe somebody would even want to start a weekly "column" on the main page.

Another idea would be maybe for a couple people to "discuss" some sort of hot topic every week. They could trade PM's back and forth on the subject in a little head to head battle so to speak.'

^This was the idea I had for the main page along time ago. I don't like to toot my own whistle but I think sometimes I write well enough to be featured on the main page, but often times it requires something to spark the desire. Hell, maybe if we even had it to where sometimes there's an "assignment" for an article.. like Tim posts "I want an article about *such and such* for the 2nd week of next month" and then you have an idea going in on what to write about. I was one of the odd ducks that loved English assignments on stuff like that, I'd totally do a report for this site!

Also, real quick shoutout to Tim for the new design on the homepage. That shit is -sleek- as hell, it looks absolutely incredible, especially compared to the last front page design. Very professional!

This is a good idea. Maybe there should be a writing noticeboard of sorts where everyone could throw in topics of discussion that would be worth writing a piece about. For example, we've got a mix of UK/US members so any articles that write about the differences, similarities on both countries etc could conjure up interest on social media even to people who may not even like wrestling but those who just visit the web page to read one of our diverse topics.
