New domain ideas

Alright folks.

I'm getting antsy to move us over to our new domain and hosting, but before that can be done we need to figure out a new domain name for the site.

Unfortunately, www.theclub.com is already taken, as is www.the-club.com. I'd rather avoid hyphens and underscores altogether though, as they are not aesthetically pleasing and it makes it harder to relay the name of the site to other people when advertising.

So, I'll open it up to you guys. Any ideas of what we can call ourselves? I'd still like to keep the "club" aspect to it if possible, as it's sort of a nod to where we came as well as sort of reflective of our sense of community, but feel free to give me any ideas you've got.

Perhaps something to do with a phoenix, as it's pretty symbolic. We have PCW here which symbolises resurrection from the ashes of the WCSF, and technically this forum is a resurrection of the community from WWE-Club.

The Phoenix Club sounds cool to me. Sounds like a casino or a bar.

The New Club wouldn't really mean much to people who hadn't come from WWE-Club, so I don't know about that.

The idea of the phoenix is interesting, but I'm not sure how to work it into a site name without making it sound like a strip club

The problem with this is that not many people who are currently on the site are posting about the UFC. Just look at the sports forum and see the amount of posts for UFC 166, Velasquez vs Dos Santos or Melendez vs Sanchez. There is barely anyone talking about it, which makes me think that we cannot market this site on UFC alone.

If I was deciding it, I would focus on a domain revolving around sports and entertainment mixed together. We have the sports forum which is generally active. We also have video game, television and music forums. Then we have the wrestling forums, a show that is generally considered sports entertainment. So to market it as the "Sports and Entertainment Forum" and come up with a domain name revolving around that, we are focusing on all aspects that are popular with our current members in my opinion. Then, if a certain topic/sport becomes more popular as time goes on (ie UFC), we could eventually change so that we are marketing the forum for that particular topic!

The Pheonix Club wouldn't be that bad but the first thought in my head was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phoenix_Nights. (Someone needs to tell me how to put the link under one word that you can click on!)
