Own an island for less than a house!

So there's an island off of Ireland's coast that's on sale for 140,000 pounds or 211,000 US dollars. Any takers? Should we all go in and own it together? Create our own country?

What's the point of even owning an island like that? It's rocky as hell, so you probably can't farm on it too well to help sustain yourself. Building a house there and covering/transporting all your necessities would be insanely expensive. And at the end of that all you get is a cold, crappy, island to do nothing on, and not much to look at. Also this, "The island is in a very remote area and is only accessible via helicopter or boat... when the weather conditions are right"

Fair enough, but it could make for a killer vacation get away home if you are into that type of vacation.
