I'm currently reading Hack by Graham Johnson.
He was a former reporter at the News of the World (that got closed down in 2011 due to phone-hacking) and he worked there in the 90s and it's a great read as you get to see how much of the tabloid world then (and maybe now) was down to making absolute shit up and destroying lives. Especially so at the NOTW.
I've got Sir Alex Ferguson's book delivered today, but will finish off Hack before opening that one up.
I started reading about 6 years ago and wish I'd read before that on a regular basis.
My other book that I enjoyed, with a more American flavour was Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein's book on bringing down Nixon. Absolutely amazing how the little details were discovered slowly before they got to the big one.
