So I spent last night in the Emergency Room...

And let me tell you, Pain is the worst possible thing to go to the ER with. Normally, I can deal with Pain, it's a constant in my life. But last night was the most excruciating pain I've ever dealt with. I was screaming and I couldn't breathe because it just hurt to breathe. It was terrible.

But I did eventually calm myself enough to talk and communicate with my parents and the doctors. The worst thing was it took three bloody tries to get an IV in, and that is not fun. I got the IV in my hand and got a dose of morphine, most of the pain subsided, and I went home at 5 am. I have prescriptions for painkillers now, and I should be fine now, but I hadn't been to the ER in years. The doctors and nurses there were very helpful and really nice, but I would rather not have to do that ever again.

For the past few days, I had been dealing with massive pain in my back and shoulders, and last night, it just got unbearable. I was fine most of the day, but when I got in bed to go to sleep, it felt like someone was trying to rip my back open from the inside. Just exrcuciating stretching and pain, I knew I wouldn't make it through the night, because it was also hurting my diaphragm when I tried to breathe.

So I got up, got back in my wheelchair, and my mom drove me to the ER at, like, 1 am. I eventually got morphine and that killed most of it, but it was rough.

It was one of those weird muscle strains. It didn't show up on the tests, but it will go away eventually.
