Worst Injury You've Had

I think I might have bested myself today for my worst physical injury to date. I was sick the last few days but felt better this morning, so I went in to work. But I got dizzy on the train and when I was coming off it, I fainted and fell pretty hard. I needed 5 stitches on my chin and 2 in one of my knees. My other knee is a bit banged up too. Feel like a fucking twat now.

Anyone have any similar stories? It'd make me feel a lot better.

Worst injury I've ever had was probably when I was around 12, acting like a complete dunce and screwing around on top of a garage because what else are you going to do when you're 12. Slipped and fell, fractured some ribs on the kerb. It was pretty hard to breathe for a while.

Fingertip was cut off in a door when I was four. Broke my tibia, fibula, shattered my kneecap and partially tore my quad doing high jump at school. That kinda sucked.

Shouldn't have been humping past your limits

Anyways I once was a passenger and some stupid old bitch ran a clear red and t-boned us. Didn't break anything but bruised my sternum pretty good. Hurt so bad and I could barely move from the pain. My recent back muscle injury from a collapsed scrum is also up there. Been a couple weeks and I still wake up in pain. Same with when I fell off a horse and destroyed my knee and could barely walk for a bit. Could barely even sleep it was so bad.

I am not even sure how I did it to be honest but I tore my cartilage in my knee in middle school. It went undiagnosed for a year until I could barely walk. Went to the doctor who told me I was making it up and told me to use crunches until he said otherwise; which lasted 2 years. I eventually got to a specialist who took one look at me and said my doctor was an idiot. They took most of it out and discovered I have arthritis in my knee caps due to a lyme disease issue as a child.

Sliced my arm up. It went through the glass panel of a door when I tried to slam it shut. Lost a lot of blood. Had to have around 50 stitches. Got a few impressive scars from it.

Mine was something similiar, was trying to shut a glass door as hard as I could in the vain hope of shutting out my brother's teasing of me and my right hand went through leaving a scar on my wrist. We had to wake my Dad up (who was trying to sleep for an early night for work the next morning) and spend the most of the night in A&E.
