What's the best beer you've ever tried?

We've discussed the worst beers, now let's talk about the best.

Slightly awkward as some of you berated Carling/Guiness in the other thread and that's pretty much all I order when I'm out boozing :lol

Can't be a local ale in my book - Saltaire Blonde is lovely. Hoegarden is a Belgian blonde that I always enjoy too.

I know a lot of people who don't like it, but the beer me and my friends always drink is Fosters. We drink it so much that when we have something different, we don't like it as much. I'm not sure if that is just that we like Fosters or we have just grown so accustomed to it, but that is our beer or choice.

Budweiser is the beer I will usually drink if they don't serve Fosters in whatever pub I'm in. I am also fairly partial to Tuborg.

My favorite beers are Molson Export and Alexander Keith's I.P.A. My favorite type of beer has to be a good ole I.P.A though I'll gladly drink another type of ale as long as it's of good quality. Other ones I really like are the polish beer Zubr, Innis & Gunn(Original and Rum Finish) and Hoegaarden.

Innis+gunn. Not a beer to get drunk off of, but a very powerful and delicious desert beer. The winter flavor is my favorite, but they are all good.

ALSO for this season, a new one I just had was Southern Tier's Pumpking, which is a pumpkin ale. Way better than I had anticipated.

This used to be called Kentucky Breakfast Stout, right? I love this beer, and I wish I could get it in Texas.

^Could very well be, I just had it for the first time last year. It's one of my favorite stouts.

This is gonna sound stupid but the best for me would have to be bud light.
Taking in account the different characteristics like price, flavor, drinkability, availability in stores or bars and after effects (morning after) bud light to me is all around the best beer to me

^You gotta try their Red Rye Pale Ale, it's fantastic stuff.

Also, has anyone had any Trappist beers? I've been to a couple places in Milwaukee that have them in bottles but they're so expensive, so I always tell myself "eh, maybe next time" :lol

I've tried a few good beers - Kingfisher Premium is probably my favourite.

As for cider, Aspall is great stuff. Brewed in Suffolk, UK. Viazon, prophet - see if you can get your hands on it. Awesome stuff.
