What's a craze you just don't understand?

At the moment, it seems a growing number of guys here have started wearing their hair in a bun. It's known as a 'mun', a portmanteau of 'man bun'.

It looks like shit. I think very few guys naturally suit long hair anyway, let alone having it in a bun. Quite a few guys have their hair short on the sides yet have this greasy, mullety-bun thing at the back. It looks fucking horrid and I don't get it.

I hate the stretcher ear thingymabobs. I just don't get it. Why on earth would you want to mutilate your own ear for the sake of a little circular piece of plastic? It looks silly and I just wanna shake these prats and voice out loud that they're literally stretching their fucking flesh apart to fit a piece of jewellery. It's insane. And they only seem to be getting bigger and more ridiculous. When these things eventually lose their lustre, these idiots are gonna have some fucked up ears.

Also dermal piercings. I get it, your body, do what you want with it, but I reserve the right to think they look silly and be baffled as to why anyone would want one to begin with.

Wearing sports teams clothing but not being a fan of that team. Can't tell you how many people I asked if they were Cincinnati Reds fans because they wore a hat with the logo before I realized it was the "cool" thing to do. As someone from Cincinnati, it was really confusing. Apparently it's with all different teams though.

Speaking of hats, people who keep the stickers on them. Don't get that one at all.

Douchey 'high-horse' answer would be smoking though I guess it's unfair to call it a craze. I've just never seen the point or appeal of cigarettes. They're horrible for the body and taste awful and I'm relatively certain people only get into it because they think it makes them look cool or mature and give them some kind of status boost. Not for me.

Another thing all my friends tend to do is go out...every weekend. I don't mean to the pub either because I'm always at the pub, I'm talking about town and to clubs. I've never been a fan of nightclubs and fail to see how people can go out every weekend. The music is shit and unless you get hammered you always have a shit night. I often sober up in town because the drinks are cheap and terrible and after you've had one it takes fucking forever to get back to the bar for another one. More money than it's worth.

I agree with going out every weekend, a lot of my old friends go out drinking and usually end up at some sort of club/bar 2/3times a week. It just seems excessive to me, then again I stopped the weekly drinking session years ago and only drink every now and then on special occasions, I don't think I'd ever step foot in a club again unless I absolutely had to, the thought fills me with dread!
