How many Facebook friends do you have?

I have 226.

The majority of those are people I went to school with who I didn't talk to then and I still wouldnt talk to now. Think I'm due a clear out. I'm also surprised many of those people have kept me as a friend. I mean, theres quite a few who have went off and had babies and are constantly posting pics and stuff. Now, I'm not a paedophile... But what if I was?! Surely if you are posting pics and updates of your kids, you would make sure all the people on your friend list are relevent!

So how many friends do you have and how many would you actually speak to in real life?

I'm a ruthless deleter of Facebook friends. Basically, if I don't feel completely comfortable commenting on anything someone posts, then I'll get rid of them. If someone posts a lot of stuff that I'm not remotely interested in, then I'll get rid of them. As a result I have just north of 60 friends, I believe. I'm pretty happy with that amount.

Between 100-200. TBH, the majority of them are from school, college or University but we don't tend to speak alot, if at all. I think for me, FB, is about just stalking their profiles to see what they are up to in terms of work, professional life but my FB has become more family orientated so message, like more things my family put up than friends.

That was probably the opposite when I registered on FB in 2007 but that was because none of my family were even on Facebook then!

Friends with most of my family. A lot of them are people I went to school with. The rest are people I have met from work. I never really friend anyone unless I know them. There are a few I may have to delete because they annoy me so much with their statuses.

190, I keep people who I am interested in knowing what they are up to. I don't talk to most of them though. I am a people watcher. I also trend to delete people if I don't want them knowing what I have been up to.

464, I talk to quite a few of them too..not every day, but just here and there. It's nice to watch everyone's lives progress, and see where we all have gone. It seems like I know someone in just about any field these days. If I have a question about a topic I am not familiar with I probably have a friend who is well-versed. :)

Like 120, something like that. Highest I ever had was around 150, but deleted quite a few when all they started doing was whining about blokes and posting pictures of their kids. I don't want to deal with that. I talk to maybe 3 people of those 120 regularly. The rest are just there. My sole use of Facebook is to send people messages when I'm not on Skype or to post out of context jokes from Skype calls to make myself and or others look like the terrible terrible people we are.

Also that list may get smaller, removing people that are annoying on stuff they post. I don't need to see daily self pics of a few people. Damn they are not even good looking LOL
