My folks have been using the same CPA for years, so I just send my paperwork in with them and get it on a discount. No fucking way I want to deal with all that math myself

I use TurboTax, because I don't feel like paying someone else to do it for me. Sure, I might miss some credits, but I still get a good amount back each year.

That's basically how it is done in America, but then at the end of the year you have to do some extra calculations to figure out whether you paid too much or not enough. April 15th every year we have "Tax Day".

Oh right. Well that gets done automatically here as well. If you have paid to much, they will let you know and pay it back.
