British thread

Postby PorkChop » Mar 10, '14, 4:45 pm

A thread where we discuss all things British.

Rachael Riley apparently replacing Susanna Reid on BBC Breakfast: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-enter ... 80065.html

Looks like I'm getting out of bed earlier :lol

Also, two days of sun and I've already seen my first shirtless chav of the year. Good times.

One British thing I am thankful for is Butlins. On a related note, I am also thankful for desperate divorced older women.

I was wondering how the weekend went for you :lol

Also, on a side note, the new series of Jonathan Creek is fucking shite, his wife is gorgeous though.

Riley is an absolute babe, I'm with you. I could do with getting up a little earlier in the day anyway (look for oh so subtle double meaning there :lol )

The best thing about Britain is there being Real Ale everywhere :chug :chug3 . I'm sorry America, but the alcohol we brew here is about 50 times better than what you guys have

I heard that about Racheal Riley too, doesn't bother me although I do watch BBC Breakfast occasionally, if I fancy a change from the usual CBeebies lol.

A friend who is currently travelling around the world posted a status on Facebook making fun of our so-called 'Heatwave' today, she's used to 35 degree heat after all >_>

Gogglebox anyone? Can't beat watching people on TV, watch TV :lol

Haha 'heatwave', we've had two days of mild sun! I've heard of Gogglebox, might give it a chance if it's any good.

I know, I wouldn't exactly call it a heatwave either. I still need to wear my coat when I go out ffs.

I love Gogglebox, some of the people on there are hilarious. Personal favourites are Leon and June, kid that never speaks and the posh tipsy couple. I was also impressed to find out on last weeks episode that one of the people featured is a former Cluedo world champion, I didn't realize such a thing existed :lol

I don't get the hype tbh. I'd give Reid a 5/Twister on the milf scale.

Dude, I most certainly would NOT be using me as a baseline on milf-ism unless your standards are incredibly low. I am basically a milf, without the 'ilf' part. :rotf
