Very fortunate not to be experiencing great disruption but besides strong winds tonight, we should be OK however have seen the emergency services around regularly so hope everyone is safe.

Weather of this type in the UK, plus the storms, snow and horrid conditions make you fear about the damage to our Earth in terms of climate change. Wonder what'll be left for my children and their generation..

We had a yellow sky over London this afternoon. About 2pm it suddenly went very dark outside as if it was about 7pm, then the murky yellow restored a couple of hours later. It was really weird.

I can't understand how some people can still deny climate change when we're getting tropical storms in Ireland.

Here in Bedford the sky also got noticeably yellower. I didn't really know what was going on at first. I was inside and I just thought it was sunnier than normal but it definitely more than just sunny.

I kept seeing people talk about how the sky was discoloured and how it got dark and whatnot but every time I looked outside to check everything looked normal. Feel like I'm missing out :c

The sound of the wind outside is still fucking mental. Thought it would have calmed down a bit by now. I imagine it'll all be over by the time I get up in the morning though.

Saw my first celebrity out in the wild today. None other than Mike Skinner from The Streets.

Find it odd why if there's a redundant recycling bin near the front of your house, you'd think "yes, I'll just take it" rather than just putting it to one side for someone to collect it for whom it belongs to. .. I went and got it back anyway.

We haven't seen such levels of bin warfare since this website, back in 2014...

Luckily it hasn't escalated but if it did, I was ready to deploy my missiles of rubbish....

They have no fucking clue.

And just remember that Boris Johnson decided the best use of his final moments as Foreign Secretary was to do a photoshoot with him signing his resignation letter, aka like a overhyped, lazy, utter dogshit of a footballer signing a new contract.

It's a shame there's no real momentum behind a vote that would allow Parliament to vote on the deal or a another Brexit vote.

Kim's got the height and reach advantage, but Coleen as youth on her side. If she can slip Kim's jab I think she's got the women's 250lb title in the bag.
