If you had the chance to see...

a photo of your family taken 10 years in the future, would you look at it? (stolen from reddit)

I wouldn't, for several reasons. The number one reason being that it would scare me if anyone was absent.

No, I wouldn't. It would make you second guess your decisions over the next several years. It would be stressful.

No way. If I didn't see someone I would freakout. I would have to give credit to anyone who would have the balls to see something like that. Not to mention if I looked at the picture and didn't see a wife and kids that would make me a little depressed. Or worse if someone had a wife and kids currently and the picture showed them to be gone. You would always be wondering if they died or just left you. That would be like the worst mind fuck ever.

No I wouldn't. For the reasons already stated. If anyone wasn't in the picture it would drive me nuts.

What if you were the one absent? That'd be the most fucked up thing.

I'd probably take a peek at the photo to be honest. I've never been one to dwell or fear death. I know I'm gonna die one day, I know my family members are gonna die one day. Obviously I'd rather it be later rather than sooner (in most cases) but ten years is a fair amount of time. That's ten years to forget that the picture ever existed and ten years worth of memories that you can really build and cherish. In fact, putting the expiration date on certain relationships, I'd be more inclined to enjoy them whilst I can.

Also, on the positive side, you might see people you're yet to meet or be introduced to your lives. Kids, new partners, nieces, nephews etc.

And if the outlook doesn't appear too positive ... who knows ... maybe you could Back to the Future that shit.
