Life has been getting me down lately the last year or so but hopefully this year things will pick up. Me and my friend are looking to start our own business and open a place together. It's going to be a comic book store/gaming cafe. We are already quiet far along into the process. We have found a building we want and have placed a formal offer. Just waiting for a few little details before properly getting solicitors involved and applying for business loans. Owning my own business seems like a very daunting task but I need to do something with my life and I need to do something I will enjoy. I absolutely hate my job right now and just can't wait to leave. Which is motivating me more.

I have kind have gone off wrestling again which may be the reason why I am barely on here these days. That and the fact that I have started to spend less time on the internet. Because I would waste way too much time on here. I did tune in for the Royal Rumble though and I might watch Wrestlemania if the card looks good.

Not much is going on. Still single. It's really hard to meet a decent girl when all your friends have settled down and you don't get to go out much. Online dating hasn't exactly brought me much luck. But I'm just going to put all of my time and effort into my business and I'm sure that will put me in a situation where I meet lots of new people. I'm sure a nice lady will come along soon.

Life is steady: work's good but has its usual flash points (usual office conflicts), married life is good (I'm still married so that's a positive sign!) and excited by the year ahead.

Boring I know. But hey, this is the road to contentment (I hope so anyway)

Life is ok. I moved across London to begin a new job about 6 months ago which is quite good. I miss home though.

I was told this morning by my housing agency that the landlord will be reclaiming possession of my flat, so I'm faced with the daunting task of finding somewhere to live again. I'd only just settled down in this place, so I'm a mixture of annoyed and slightly terrified. Finding somewhere to live in London that's affordable and comfortable is extremely difficult, and I don't have any family I can stay with in the interim. I may have to pitch a tent in Hyde Park or something, for a while.

Like Viazon, I've been spending much less time on the internet these days. I don't know why, although I suppose it will help me adjust to when Theresa May bans the internet in a year's time and Britain becomes the 1940's again.

@Viazon, best of luck to you and your business. Keep us updated.
