I went to hempfest like 5 years ago, and have been to like two concerts, and a Joe Rogan show. I've never actually explored the city in any way. It was just straight to my destination and back.
Well, if you have some money to spend and are into the bar scene, bar hopping, or clubbing, night life in Seattle has a lot of that. There are a ton of places to eat, like.... Everything to eat. Also has a fair amount of history if that's your thing, museums, Seattle underground, site seeing and what not. Columbia tower is the second largest building on the West so that's always neat to say you have been there.
If you are into games, PAX convention tickets will likely go on sale soon, and it's at the Seattle Convention center where all sorts of people cosplay and stuff. You just missed Comic-con though, so if you like comics you'll have to wait until next year for that.
International district is pretty distinct in Seattle, and it's funny how Seattle turns from business center to Asia town when you enter it. Really, you should just park your car somewhere sometime, and walk around the city. It's big, but there's a lot everywhere. I wouldn't say any of it is particularly dangerous, there's bums and whatnot but in my opinion still not a dangerous place.
I really need to just find myself a nice quiet lounge where I can drink and enjoy some peoples company. Cause that loud music in bars makes talking hard.
