Did you ever have a school prom?

And if so, did you go to it? We had a debutante which is similar to a prom but a bit more pretentious and formalised. We all had dancing lessons with our respective partners and rehearsed the fuck out of it. Then the men had to rent a tux, the women a dress, and next thing you know you're performing this dance in a large hall in front of heaps of people.

It was a good night but I wish it was a bit more chilled like a prom is. At least we got a ride in some fancy limo.

Yeah and it was shit. I'd been for a Pub Lunch earlier in the day so I was full come Prom and didn't eat the dinner they'd prepared. The actual do was awkward with the teachers everywhere and shit music making it feel like a primary school disco. All the lads paid for a party bus to travel there in a bit of style but I honestly couldn't understand why you'd fork out a ton of money on fancy transport so me and the lovely lady I took to prom opted for a taxi instead lmao. The house party we went too after was fucking mental though so it wound up being a good night.

Oh absolutely. Senior Prom was THE best night of my life so far. Had a ballin' tuxedo, a big tittied girlfriend, got to drive my dad's Nitro, danced my ass off, went to a bangin' party, and to top the night off, i took my girl's virginity.

Yeah, I went to mine. Its not as much of a big deal here as it is in the US, but I remember being a decent night. Obviously we couldnt have alcohol because we were too young but me and my friends had a great night anyway. Were we the guys who went in a group without any dates and just hung out together. At the end of the night, we highjacked someones limo.

And I got a hug and a kiss on the cheek by my fit teacher. Being a 15 year old virgin, I almost passed out.

Yeah, we had a 'Debs' which is our version of a prom here in Ireland. It was a decent enough night. I went stag and proceeded to dance a lot, get absolutely mangled drunk and fall home at about 6 in the morning, at which point I went to bed in my tux.

I went the following year too, with a girl a year younger than me. I got somewhat less drunk that night and could at least remember everything the following day. But a bunch of us still ended up drinking in a shed an hours drive away from our home town and had to awkwardly figure out how to get home at 7am.

Interesting nights, to be sure.

Well here its just grad. No I did not go, I graduated 2 years after I was supposed to so I didnt have any friends graduating with me so there was no point in going. I did however go to grad with my ex the year I was supposed to graduate so I kinda count that since I was there with all my friends. It still sucked though (especially since my ex cheated on me that night, hence the ex part). I always found that grad/prom was extremely over rated and a waste of money.

Yeah we had one at the end of Secondary school, it was a pretty fun night.

I did. It was quite enjoyable, actually. I went with my girlfriend at the time, we went to a fairly nice ballroom, then we got blackout drunk afterward.

It was not bad.

I went to my prom, got a nice limo and went with some buddies. My girlfriend was younger than me and had strict family so I had to have her home by 11:30 or 12. So after dinner and making it to the prom dance, we really only had time to get our picture taken and lounge around for a couple minutes before I had to take her back.

It was kind of stupid but I prefer to have gone and know that, than not go and wonder what awesome (or non awesomesauce) I missed.

Yes however it was canceled due to my graduation class was bad, like 90 percent of my class were school bullies or just ass holes

I thought it was going to be the best night of my life- needless so say it was not. My then boyfriend got mad at me for dancing, tried leaving me on the side of the road in the rain, ditched me at the post-prom for his best friend. It was an overall horrible night.

We had a prom, I just didn't go. There was a state competition that same day in Waco, TX, and since I made Nationals the year before, and Nationals were in Orlando that year, I figured I'd go for it. Finished 2nd in Technical Writing, so I qualified for Nationals, but the school wouldn't pay for the trip to Disney World.

In hindsight, I should've gone to prom, but I didn't have anyone to go with anyway, so no big loss.
