It's probably like 40F or 50F in Texas right now. I don't think they'd catch fire or wilt that badly if left in a vase with water in the floorboard of your vehicle for 3 hours in 40-60 degree conditions.

It's fucking winter in Texas right now guys. And he lives in the Northern part anyways. It ain't like he's leaving them in the car in the middle of July haha. GNR, go to a florist and ask them how long flowers can hold up properly inside your vehicle. If it's not too cold then I think they'll be fine, especially if you leave them in some water. Flowers usually don't do well outside water or the ground from my experiences

I think this is your best answer buy them before you leave for what your doing so they are fresh.

Since its cold, I really don't think 3 hours is a problem. Actually 3 hours is a good amount of time to let them open up after you set them up in their vase. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are getting exotic flowers that live in a hot jungle.
