So if I were to buy flowers, and keep them in my car for roughly 3 hours, would they get ruined, or...?

Sorry, I'm an ignorant dumbass 17 year old dude with no clue. :moocow

Wait, don't you live in Texas or something? Flowers would die horribly if they were shut in a car for 3 hours in Texas :lol

It's probably like 40F or 50F in Texas right now. I don't think they'd catch fire or wilt that badly if left in a vase with water in the floorboard of your vehicle for 3 hours in 40-60 degree conditions.

Then again, I'm no florist.

It's fucking winter in Texas right now guys. And he lives in the Northern part anyways. It ain't like he's leaving them in the car in the middle of July haha. GNR, go to a florist and ask them how long flowers can hold up properly inside your vehicle. If it's not too cold then I think they'll be fine, especially if you leave them in some water. Flowers usually don't do well outside water or the ground from my experiences :lol

I would say they will be fine in water and maybe crack the window.

Best answer, take the 15 mins you will spend to buy them and re adjust your time schedule to accommodate for that time 3 hours later.

The thing is I was going to give them to the girl I'm asking to prom when I ask her. Problem is, I was going to do after work because we work at the same place and clock out at the same time, so...

I might just do paper flowers instead.

I really enjoy making the kawasaki rose, its pretty hard to make at first but like most things when you get the hang of it you can do it pretty easily. http://www.instructables.com/id/Origami ... /?ALLSTEPS

Since its cold, I really don't think 3 hours is a problem. Actually 3 hours is a good amount of time to let them open up after you set them up in their vase. I wouldn't worry about it, unless you are getting exotic flowers that live in a hot jungle.

Unfortunately we don't go to the same school, so... =/

I'm colluding with my boss and two of her friends, so I'm just going to clock out 15 minutes earlier than her and make a mad dash for the grocery store. :lol
