What's a food that you dislike that everyone else seems to like?

I really don't dislike many things, but I guess for the purposes of this thread it'd be coffee. Everyone I know is obsessed with it and "meeting up for coffee" is one of their favorite things to do but I just can't stand the stuff, never have. I don't even like the super sugary coffee drinks... it just tastes like sweet coffee, and I don't like coffee taste at all.

Been a vegetarian since I was 7, so all forms of meat. The smell of Tuna and Peanuts makes me vomit too.

Tea and Coffee - Not a hot drink kind of person
Roast Chicken - It smells like cat food and tastes like it too.
Steak - It has a horrible texture when cooked and I can't stand it rare/medium rare

Mushrooms, Pumpkin Pie, Sweet Potatoes, for all I know those are the three best tasting things in the world but I can't get them past my lips because of texture.

Also while i do like bacon and cheese I don't get the obsession with putting them on everything. I don't need a bacon milkshake or bacon cologne. I also don't need cheese on everything. Most veggies taste better without it, and I can't stand it on fries.

Lastly I can't eat tuna. I got horrible food poisoning once and have not been able to even smell tuna since.

Someone else besides me gets it! Ketchup is my least favorite thing ever. It's goopy, it's obnoxiously red, it's got all the culinary appeal of plastic and none of the flavor, I hate it. Even the word "Ketchup" is unappealing. It sounds more like an Adam West Batman sound effect than something you'd eat.

Not remotely as bad as the above... chocolate-covered fruits. Now, I like chocolate, and I like fruit, but with the exception of bananas, putting the two together just doesn't appeal to me.

I think what annoys me most about bacon is that it's become some weird cultural meme where everybody pretends to be obsessed with bacon, as though it's the greatest thing ever. I mean, I enjoy myself a couple strips of bacon for sure, but the hooplah over it online the last few years has been really annoying.

Most people do act like they love bacon more than they actually do, not me though. I love me some bacon, always have and always will. My top 3 meats are Steak, Bacon, Dark chicken meat. I don't like talking about bacon though because it makes me hungry. Dammit now I need bacon.

As someone who does not eat pork, I think I get why bacon has become such a phenomenon: it's a reaction to health nuts.

Think about it. In the past few years, we've had so many fad diets, so much vegan uprising on the internet, people are more obsessed than ever about eating healthy food, and instead of acting like normal human beings and ignoring it, a bizarre subculture of people decided that this is "oppressive", and have vowed to fight it. Now, what better antithesis to the barrage of "eat this food that's good for you that tastes like sawdust" imaginary oppression than to glorify a food made almost entirely of fried pig fat?

Bacon is the exact opposite of healthy to most people. It's only now become the "King of Meats" because someone on the Internet decided that "being healthy is for losers" and it snowballed from there.
