What are you doing for New Years Eve?

New Years is one of my favorite days of the year usually because it's one of the few times I can manage to get all of my best friends into one place and enjoy a night with them. This year I'll be having around a dozen or so folks over to my apartment to have some drinks and snacks and play some games. Probably will play some Cards Against Humanity or Mafia or Cranium or something, and I'm sure the N64 will make an appearance for old times' sake.

And of course, there will be plenty of beer, champagne and brandy old fashioneds

This is the first time since I've been in the job market that I've not worked the night of New Years Eve or at all on New Years day, so I'm probably going to go to a party, consume copious amounts of alcohol, and do irresponsible things with my ex girlfriend who shares the same friendship circles as I do and will undoubtedly be there.

This kind of shit always happens. I'm 50% bitter and 50% prepared to not give a fuck.

Probably watching the ball drop with my wife if the kids ate home we will watch on tv, if my mom takes them we will walk down town and watch the Red Rose drop.

Doin' my favorite thing. Lettin' the amateurs have the night, staying at home with my wife and 3 year old boy, watching the Blu-rays we got for Christmas and/or some rentals from the Red Box or Dish on Demand.

My and my friends used to hit the town every New Years Eve and have a great night. In the last couple of years though, most of my friends have settled down and had kids, so they can't really do that any more. But this year my friend has invited a bunch of us round his house. We are just gonna have a few drinks, chill out, play some PS3. Should be a good night.

New Year's Day is normally spent drinking all day... Head out about 12 then roll on home whenever you're ready. So that means New Years Eve should be spent fairly quiet, however I'm going out, so I hope I make it back out the next day.

I'm back to work on New Year's Eve unfortunately, but I'll be finished by 5pm. To celebrate the end of the year, I'll be going out to a swanky Italian restaurant with my partner. I've been off pasta for the last while, so it'll be nice to indulge a little. And it's just a nice place with a great atmosphere and better food.

My big night out with friends over the holiday season is always Christmas eve, and I've spent the last week hanging out with friends and family. So I'm happy to be bringing in the new year just by doing something special with my better half.

Not a fucking thing, will be at home with the wife and kid. Would like to say that we will watch movies then see the ball drop for a good new years kiss but in reality it will end up being a night of dinner, a dvd then to bed before the ball drops.

Nothing over here either. Just a chilled out night, our daughter is in bed by 7pm at the latest so after that it will just be us, the tv and maybe a couple of joints spread out through the night, may have a drink or two as well but at least one of us will be getting up the next morning so we can't go overboard. Was considering asking my mum to have her over night but a) She had her on Saturday night and b) We don't have anywhere to go.
