The end of the Redskins/Giants game

I know probably not many people were watching it because it was a completely worthless game, but what did you guys think about the way that all ended, with the refs completely botching the downs?

The NFL came out and said today that the refs blew it, which seems to be happening more and more often as of late. Who knows whether it would have made a difference in the result of the game, but Mike Shanahan and the Redskins have every reason to be furious about it.

It was a huge screw up and an embarrassment for the NFL, but it in no way changed the result of what was going to happen in the game. On the 4th/2nd down they picked up the first down and then Garcon fumbled. Turnovers cost Washington the game not that call.

Didn't see this but boy, that's bad officiating if I ever saw it. Stuff like that just cannot happen at the professional level with so much on the line.
