I don't doubt the truth to this, but at this point just let it go. Either they are cheaters and the NFL can't do anything about it or they aren't cheaters and we are all wasting our time. Either way no one could stop Gronl so its a non factor.

But, but the great Belichick and Brady couldn't possibly be involved in cheating! [/sarcasm]

1) Do you guys seriously think Belichick has any idea on how to disrupt radio signals?

2) Do you guy seriously think the Patriots have been disrupting radio signals and being the reason for headsets going out all the time (something very severe and that would have been made a big deal in-game just like it was as soon as it happened last night, which IT WAS ALREADY REPORTED IT WAS BECAUSE OF GROUNDING ISSUES) that they haven't been caught already?! As a matter of fact... the Patriots I seriously doubt (as a matter a fact, I'm 100% sure they don't) even control the headsets, the NFL does!

Jesus. This whole New England shit is so fucking annoying, I'm sick of it being discussed. It is not their fault the Steelers have a God awful defense and horrific redzone play-calling. Even if they did "cheat" (certainly wasn't in this situation), people just need to get the hell over it. What's done is done. You're only hurting the game for yourself at this point.

1). No of course not. But he's equally responsible if he had a discussion with Robert Kraft about the need to hire an expert that could disrupt radio signals and give him a dummy title.

2) They clearly have been accused of this very thing before and so what the NFL applies the actual headset, the Patriots can have something in their stadium to interfere in the airwaves. The Patriots are shady and always have been from the ultra secretive way they do things down there line and where there's this much smoke there's definitely a flame or two.

3) People just need to get over and forget cheating? Fuck that. People need to pursue it to the end's of the earth and make sure they get caught and brought down.

Read this link so you can fully understand that the NFL, not the Patriots, control the equipment and radio signals:

http://operations.nfl.com/the-game/game ... rdinators/

Read this quote if you don't want to bother reading that link:

Patriots do not control the headsets. The NFL does. I once had a woman from the concession stand in my headsets at Fed EX field. - Mills

Read this quote to understand Belichick and the Patriots had the same issues:

Ross Jones ‏@RossJonesFOX 9m9 minutes ago
Belichick says he had to switch headsets couple times. Both teams having communication problems. BB: “Seems like we deal with that weekly.”

Now read these tweets where the NFL says it was a grounding issue (as I already said), an issue that can occur for several reasons such as the poor weather last night:

https://twitter.com/JasonColeBR/status/ ... 8906782720
https://twitter.com/tomecurran/status/6 ... 3899560960

You're a good man, but stop worrying yourself over stuff like this and enjoy the game of football. There is nothing to see here. To even think the Patriots are disrupting another teams radio signals is a ludicrous idea. You're too smart to be believing stuff like that.

The NFL controls the headsets, but the Patriots can manipulate the airwaves. Yes, the Patriots had same issue and "have issues weekly". Those issues are easier to deal with if you know they are coming and prepared for them. The Patriots, Belichick, Brady are all completely unlikable and reprehensible models of fairness and sportsmanship, I'll never like them and want to see them caught. Whether it's radio signals, doctoring the football, spying on their opponents the Patriots are cheaters and that's the bottom line.

As in, using a radio jammer?

You do realize if the Patriots were doing this, they would have bigger issues than simply with the NFL... right?

Not necessarily a full on jammer, but something to create interference of some kind.

It's called a billion dollar company being lazy on buying the right equipment to get the job done. I mean shit they just barely fixed the goal posts and that's just a simple pipe job.

The Patriots didn't buy the headsets as established. And by in large the headsets the NFL bought for use in 31 other stadiums work right almost every Sunday.

For sure.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera said issues with headsets a league issue, not a specific team. Said he had an issue at Buffalo once, for example.

Joe Person ‏@josephperson 49s49 seconds ago
Ron Rivera says he's never had any issues with headsets in Foxboro. Has had problems with them other places.

And you're still missing the point that the NFL controls the radio waves, frequency signals, airwaves, all of that. You should really read the link I posted above.

http://operations.nfl.com/the-game/game ... rdinators/

Preventing such interference — or clearing it up quickly — is the job of one of the NFL’s unsung heroes: the gameday frequency coordinator. These specialists track and manage hundreds of frequencies and thousands of in-stadium frequency-dependent devices. They also account for interference from sources outside of the stadium, such as TV stations and special events.

“Right now, our duty is to cram 500 MHz of users into 25 MHz of spectrum,” the NFL’s lead frequency coordinator, Karl Voss, said in a May 2014 interview with Audio Gloss, a blog published by RF Venue, an audio technology company. “Everybody seems to think that [radio frequency] is their God-given right. And essentially the job of the coordinator is to make sense of that — to try and give as many people tools that they need to do their job within reason.”

Quarterbacks, defensive play-callers, coaches and game officials all depend on coordinators to ensure that their systems are interference-free. So do TV and radio broadcasters and reporters, medical and security personnel, staff who use the NFL’s instant replay and injury video review systems, concession operators, cleaners, halftime entertainers and many more.

Like if the Patriots were in any way interfering with anything, they would have EASILY been caught by now. And then they would have had bigger problems beyond just NFL punishment for interfering with frequency signals/airwaves/radio signals/etc.

Unless, of course, you want to argue the NFL is cheating for New England.

Tony Dungy said he had several headset issues all over the NFL:

Tomlin is really mad that when he had the issue at first they didn't make the Patriots turn off their radios and when they did, miraculously the Steelers headets were fine. Then when the rep left the Pats sideline, the Steelers headset were acting up again.

I know I won't. There is no winning an argument with someone who ignores all logic and facts.

It's okay. You hate the Patriots. I accept that.

^ If it makes you both feel better I hate the Patriot and don't think they are cheaters. Their fans are just annoying and spoiled. The "hate us because they ain't us" stuff is why I dislike their fans. Well that and other reasons I won't get in to here. Deflate-gate was overblown. Headset-gate is just overkill. I do have a problem with Spygate, but they served their punishment so I am over that.

@Legend Can you admit that of all the gates this is the least to get upset over?

@Messiah Can you admit that it is a bit odd that this always seems to happen to the Patriots? I am not saying that its all justified, but from a public perspective it is very hard to ignore when it keeps coming back up.
