Be careful, Manning

Postby Locke » Nov 17, '13, 12:18 pm

I'm a huge Chiefs fan and a diehard Broncos hater, but I'm torn because I think Peyton Manning is as much of an all star guy as he is an all star player. I'm worried about him ending his career tonight because the Chiefs are one mean mother fucking defense and since these refs start flagging for hitting high, they're goin' to be hittin' low and the Chiefs have taken out players quite often.

Gonna be rough and rowdy!

Just remember there is also a rule against defenders diving at a QB's lower legs as well. And since everyone knows Manning has a bad ankle, I wouldn't be surprised to see the refs in that game make an emphasis of that rule.

Going to be a good game. Though I think the difference could come down to the Broncos defense vs the Chiefs offense, not vice versa.

Not only that, but for the most part the Broncos won the Chiefs style of game. Holding the Broncos under 30 points was what a lot of people, including myself thought it would take for the Kansas City offense to have a shot. They held them to that and couldn't get the deficit under 10 points in the second half.

The Chiefs are in trouble against a team like Denver if they fall behind. Alex Smith is not the kind of QB to put up points.

Alex Smith is not as big of a problem as Dwayne fucking Bowe. That ass clown gets so much hype and credit and he can't catch for shit.

Somehow he can do a backflip while jumping off a guy's back and catch a ball one handed if it's high up in the air, but if you hit him dead on in the chest or hands with a ball he drops it like it's fucking magma. If Bowe caught every easy catch he missed we'd likely have beaten Denver, or at least took it to OT, even with that piss poor first quarter.

Peyton ain't out of the ballpark yet. He has to come to Arrowhead next. I somehow thought this last game was a home game, but it was flip-flopped. NOW he's in danger.

Yeah. Alex Smith isn't the kind of QB who's going to win you a Super Bowl, but he's not the kind who's going to stand in your way either, which is more than you can say for probably around a dozen other QBs in the NFL.
