Josh Gordon Fails Another Drug Test (Possible Year Ban)

Per Adam Schefter's Twitter: Browns WR Josh Gordon flunked another drug test and now will be subject to a one-year banishment, per league sources. More on ESPN @ 6 pm.

I am all for legalizing weed, but come on dude, get it together. How many times do you have to be told No!

Apparently it was for alcohol, not weed and because of his DUI, he is not allowed to drink alcohol which makes sense.

The guy just threw away what could have been, at the very least, an 8 year career earning him a ton of money barring injury. Just a shame to see guys like him piss away an opportunity millions around the world would do just about anything for.

Dude needs to get some serious help because when you could be one of the game's best at your position and make millions upon millions of dollars throughout a career, you don't just throw it away for a buzz.

I'm incredibly sad for Josh Gordon, he obviously needs some serious help in the decision making department, and I'm sick to my stomach for myself and all other Browns fans who just continue to have crap like this happen for. Honestly devastating.

The Browns seriously need to look into rehab/treatment for their players. Manziel and Gordon both need help and dont appear to be getting it.

Gordon actually checked into rehab last off-season. He came out of rehab and said the doctors there said he wasn't an addict. Then a few weeks late was arrested for a DUI in North Carolina.

Bottom line, if a person doesn't want and accept help to make themselves better then there's nothing anyone can do to help them.

The often-troubled wide receiver has been suspended without pay for at least one year by the NFL for violating the league's substance abuse policy. The suspension begins immediately.
