Seattle's Road Woes

Postby motionmann » Oct 18, '13, 8:10 am

In the Russell Wilson era of Seahawks ball, we started off on the road being 1 and 5. Everyone said the Seahawks cluldnt win on the road and blah. Since then, the Seahawks have won 6 of their last 8 on the road counting playoffs. Can we finally put to rest the Seahawks can't win on the road hooplah? Especially since the Falcons and Colts games came down to the final seconds.

No.

The only team they've beaten in that span with a winning record was the Redskins in the playoffs, and that was with an injured and thoroughly useless RGIII and then a backup QB. Before RGIII's injury, the Redskins appeared to be on pace to win the game.

I will say that they appear to be in the process of finally getting rid of their road problems, but until they start beating good teams on the road they are not off the schneid.

They are still fine even with their road woes because of how great they are at home, but that puts a lot of pressure on the team to get home field advantage.

I have zero respect for any of the team's they have beaten on the road this year, so no it's not quite over. Beating the Niners in San Francisco would go a long way to proving it to be a dead issue.
