Have your Super Bowl predictions changed at all?

Postby Everlong » Oct 12, '13, 4:58 pm

Before the year I picked Broncos/49ers like most other people in America apparently did, haha. At this point I'm still willing to stick by that, but I'm not quite as sold on either of them as I was beforehand. The Broncos I think have the better chance given the overall weakness of the AFC, but the Niners clearly have some work to do if they even want to get past the Seahawks.

What about ya'll? If you would have to pick right now, who'd you have in the big game?

I think right now its Broncos/Seahawks with the Broncos winning. I think that Ciwboy game proved that no ones beating this Broncos offense this year, and in not 100% sure about the Seahawks making it, but thats who ill go with right now.

I'm sticking with Seahawks vs Broncos playing in the Super High Bowl. Seahawks are young but pretty balanced offensively and defensively and it may be enough to slay the giant of the Rockies. A couple key mistakes lead to their loss against the Colts last week but they should have there shit sorted by playoffs time.

Picked the Broncos from the start, but there's no one in the NFC who is clearly a favorite, but whoever it is, I don't think they stand a chance against Peyton.

Well I picked the Broncos and the Giants to make the Super Bowl. At least I'm quite confident in the Broncos to make the Super Bowl and to win the Super Bowl like I predicted. The NFC I wish I would have been safer and picked either Seattle or New Orleans.

On sort of a side note, Tim, I think you are wrong in looking at the AFC like it is considerably weak or weaker than the NFC. There's seemingly a power shift coming. The only "weak" division in the AFC you could argue is the North. Just look at the records, the AFC is 18-8 this year in games against the NFC.

I had the Seahawks over the Broncos in the Superbowl and I'm sticking to it.

I honestly can't remember who I had in the NFC corner of the Super Bowl in my year-long picks, mostly because I was just convinced that Denver would win and it didn't matter who they faced. :lol

Still Seahawks and Broncos for me. It's almost a fantasy matchup now with that WR corp and the Seahawks secondary. Neither team better rob us of that matchup!

I had the 49ers and Texans :facepalm . Not ruling the 49ers out, but I think Denver will be representing the AFC.
