Something off my chest (CBS NFL Coverage)

Postby The Legend » Nov 29, '17, 12:26 pm

So I've gotta get something off my chest that's been bugging me a couple weeks and clearly isn't going away. So a few weeks ago, a portion of the people at CBS that cover NFL games thought they had come up with something that was greatly missing from their coverage. They decided that no Browns game could be complete without a running clock counting how many days, hours, minutes and seconds it had been since Cleveland last won a football game.

To those people I have two words for you: FUCK OFF!! I'd love to meet those people in a dark alley at some point to tell them exactly what I think of their hideous and unnecessary mocking. We all know the Browns are a bad football team, we don't need you rubbing salt in the wound.

That's a good point, but did you know the Browns suck?

That does sound really fucking irritating. And if these fans are already suffering through their team's losing streak, do you really want to give them more reasons to stop watching the games?

Just imagine how good it'll feel when the clock resets.

Winning one of 16 football games won't feel good.

You think it's bad now? Wait until your team goes 0-16. The announcers will never let you forget it. You can guarantee, if the Lions ever make a Superbowl the build up will be all about how they got there after going 0-16.

The stretch the Browns are on over the last couple years is way worse than going 0-16 IMO.
