Yeah I'd agree that the winner is in the NFC this year. About time the NFC picks things back up, too, after getting its ass kicked by the AFC for most of the last 15 years. There were some pretty week iterations of the conference for quite some time.
I like the Packers' chances mostly because of their depth and because they have the league's best player, but would I pick them to win it all? EEhhhhh, tough to say. I can't really pick AZ with Palmer at QB. He balled for most of the regular season last year but caved in the playoffs, and I can't say I trust him to play at that same regular season level this year. I also don't think Cam can be as big of a superhuman again as he was this year for Carolina, and the rest of that offense isn't at the caliber where it can pick up that kind of slack. The Seahawks are still a fantastic defense but I just don't know about that offense.
I dunno. Each team has some outstanding strengths and some glaring weaknesses. I think despite maybe not having the best roster of the four, the Packers don't have any weaknesses that are as obvious as the Panthers (offense not being up to Cam's standard), Cardinals (Palmer) or Seahawks (horrendous OL and generally week offense).
That being said, we'll find a way to fuck it up somehow
